A new poll released earlier this week shows that the majority of likely Santa Clara County voters are poised to recall Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky in the June 5th election. According to the poll, conducted by SurveyUSA exclusively for KPIX-TV News, 56% of voters would vote to recall Persky if the election were today. 29% would vote against recalling him and 15% of likely voters are undecided.
On June 5th, voters will also decide which of two candidates will serve the remaining 4 years of Persky’s term if he is recalled. Two-thirds of likely voters are undecided between Assistant District Attorney Cindy Seeley Hendrickson and attorney Angela Storey. 17% of likely voters say they would vote for Storey today; 16% for Hendrickson.
The survey interviewed 1,300 adults from Santa Clara County.
