There are three seats up for election on Campbell’s City Council and folks are gearing up to fill the spots. Mayor Paul Resnikoff and Councilmember Liz Gibbons, who are up for reelection, are campaigning to keep their seats, while embattled conservative Jeffrey Cristina is termed out of office. At the moment, there are two known challengers joining the race: Michael Rich and Ann Souza. Rich is chairman of the Planning Commission and Souza serves as chairwoman of the Civic Improvement Commission. The City of Campbell elects their councilmembers at-large, so the three Council seats will go to the top three voter-getters.
