The political action committee supporting Kevin Jensen for Sheriff can’t seem to get it right. First they appeared to have violated campaign contribution laws . Now – believe it or not — they have sent out a mailer that appears to be an invitation to identity theft. The outside of the mailer is a pre-printed application for an absentee ballot, which contains voters’ names, phone numbers, addresses and dates of birth. And voters are pissed off about it. Several of them sent us the offending mail piece – pasted below with personal information removed. We are rethinking our original description of the Jensen operation as “The Dirtiest Campaign.” Maybe the campaign isn’t dirty so much as it is incompetent.

Wow Rich more free publicity for the incumbent? First I find it interesting that you keep citing these violations that you and the rest of Laurie’s troop keep filing but you fail to mention the complaint that has been filed against her? I won’t dwell on that and I’ll address this latest cheap shot you’re taking in an effort to keep unethical, unqualified dinosaur in office.
Much like the incumbent you know nothing about the law and crime. The identiy theft statement is plain stupid. The Information contained on that piece is public and any Google search would revel that or more. Just because you ride in “Laurie’s” helicopter doesn’t mean you know the law.

I should thank you on behalf of the men and women that want a new sheriff so badly. Thank you for showing your outdated campagin tactics but most importantly…thank you for showing the ignorance and arrogance of the incumbent. Psst…guess what the public is starting to see it as well.
One final thing, do you notice how nobody associated with the Sheriffs Office refers to Laurie as the sheriff only not the incumbent? That’s because us in law enforcement feel that is a position of honor, integrity and respect. All things Laurie does not possess.
