High-tech developer Roumen Boyadjiev has joined the San Jose Unified School Board race for the Trustee Area 2 seat. Little can be ascertained about this newcomer, as a campaign website was not found upon an internet search.
Other candidates in the race are Helen Chapman, staffer for San Jose Councilmember Sergio Jimenez and former Chair of San Jose’s Parks and Recreation Commission, Peter Allen, a political consultant who, until recently, served as the public information officer for the San Jose Unified School District, and newcomer Jose Magaña, a teacher and apparent charter school advocate, who has served as an instructional coach for incoming Teach for America teachers.
