The newest set of fundraising numbers are in and show some candidates holding strong, while other are falling behind.
In the race for Santa Clara County Supervisor, most candidates have neared or hit the fundraising cap of $250,000. Santa Clara Council Member Dominic Caserta raised $52,000, Susan Ellenberg brought in $32,000, San Jose Council Member Don Rocha raised $27,000, Pierluigi Oliverio raised $6,000 and Jason Baker brought in nearly $5,000.
San Jose City Council District 3 incumbent Raul Peralez raised $26,000. In Council District 5 Jennifer Imhoff-Dousharm raised $4,000.
Council District 7 candidates were also hard at work raising funds. Leading the pack is Maya Esparza with $49,000, followed by Van Le who, in this reporting period, brought in $40,000. Thomas Duong raised $24,000, Omar Vasquez raised nearly $7,000 and Chris Le brought in $2,400.
In Council District 9, Pam Foley raised $24,000, Shay Franco-Clausen raised $20,000, Sabuhi Siddique raised $3,000 and Kalen Gallagher brought in $2,500.
