Sports fans, the paper chase is on! FPPC reports are rolling out for San Jose, Santa Clara County and the State Legislature. We’re compiling total contributions and expenditures to date as they get released and we promise to update you over the weekend as we review interesting contributions and eyebrow-raising expenditures.

San Jose Mayor

Pete Constant Although Councilmember Constant withdrew from the race for Mayor, he raised $14,490 that includes a $1,000 loan. His campaign spent $10,259.08 leaving him with $14,004.92 cash on hand with some accrued outstanding debt.

Rose Herrera Councilmember Herrera raised $50,000 that includes a $14,850 loan. Herrera spent $376.95 leaving her with cash on hand of $49,623.05.

Sam Liccardo Councilmember Liccardo raised $513,152.00 that includes $3,353.00 in in-kind contributions and spent $36,282.13 leaving him with $485,093.49 cash on hand.

Madison Nguyen Vice Mayor Nguyen raised $167,153.00 that includes a $3,000 loan, though she spent a whopping $69,111.84 leaving her with $98,041.16 cash on hand.

Pierluigi Oliverio Councilmember Oliverio loaned his campaign $10,000 with no other contributions. He spent $3,626.00 leaving him with $6,374.00 cash on hand.

District 1 – San Jose City Council

Paul Fong Assemblymember Fong raised $28,865 and spent $5,332.55, leaving him with $25,347.08 cash on hand.

Susan Marsland Marland raised $12,811.13 with $757.13 in in-kind contributions while spending $1,321.44, leaving her with $13,186.39 cash on hand.  

Richard McCoy McCoy raised $1,405 including a $500 loan while spending $780.88, leaving his campaign with $624.12 cash on hand.

Kevin Jensen Challenger Kevin Jensen brought in $31,718.02 including a $5,000 loan for a total of $31,868.02 on the year. He spent $5,777.96 leaving him with 38,012.63 cash on hand.

    Councilmember Liccardo raised $513,152.00 that includes $3,353.00 in in-kind contributions and spent $36,282.13 leaving him with $485,093.49 cash on hand.

    HALF the contributions were from outside San Jose. This is concerning, yet not surprising considering his proclivity to be a shill for his developer mafia, San Jose SPUR, and Rocketship schools/Launchpad development.

    Sam is for sale and he makes no qualms about it. The Sheeple graze while the wolves contribute, fattening the sheeple for a fulfilling feast.
