False Claims Are Khanna’s “MO”

Ro Khanna’s recent attack on Congressman Mike Honda takes a page out of the sleazy playbook he used when he ran against Congressman Tom Lantos ten years ago.  In 2004 he accused Congressman Lantos of using his legislative staff on the campaign, just like he did to Honda last week.  The accusation went nowhere because it was false.

False claims are Khanna’s MO.  Khanna’s 2004 campaign was so sleazy that he managed to get President Clinton’s attention.  After using Clinton’s photo in a mailer to falsely suggest that the President had endorsed Khanna, Clinton said Khanna had “misled” the voters. * The former President then went on to endorse Khanna’s opponent Rep. Tom Lantos for re-election.

Khanna calls himself a “new type” of politician, but his actions tell a different story.
