Now, Is That Any Way to Act? Council Hopeful Don Gagliardi Is Called Hostile, Disrespectful and Inappropriate

Informed sources are telling The Left Hook that San Jose D3 city council candidate Don Gagliardi was sent this letter calling Don out for his hostile, disrespectful and inappropriate behavior toward city staff.  The letter was signed by Executive Director Harry Mavrogenes who was in charge of San Jose’s Redevelopment Agency at the time.

The Left Hook has confirmed that columnists and reporters at the Mercury News have discussed Don’s hostile behavior with political insiders but decided not to include it in their profile of the D3 race that appears in today’s paper.

The scathing letter accuses Don Gagliardi of exhibiting a pattern of pervasive hostile interactions with City and Agency staff.  The rebuke from Mavrogenes goes on to detail Gagliardi disrupting a community meeting to the point of creating a negative experience for residents in attendance to engage in a positive dialogue.

The letter closes with an admonishment to Gagliardi that City and Agency staff will no longer tolerate Mr. Gagliardi’s hostile, disrespectful and inappropriate conduct and if it continues Gagliardi would be 86’d from future interactions with City and Agency staff.

At a time when San Jose needs to come together to solve many issues, a consensus builder is what’s needed, not a bully.

Based on his atrocious conduct, Don will be a disaster for San Jose if he is elected.
